EC pertemuan 2 HOW TO DEBATE/ARGUING WELL

HOW TO DEBATE/ARGUING WELL

1.       The motion (Topic) should be controversial (PRO & CONTRA)
2.       Don’t take religion as the basic of argumentation. We can take social norm, custom, culture, education, financial, medical point of view etc
3.       Give special attention to ethic of speaking, don’t point your fore finger to your opponent ( = partner of debate ).
4.       Stand on your opinion/argumentation (defensive and responsive).
5.       Use your opponent’s power/argumentation to counter/attack back.
6.       Prepare proper vocabularies before debating.

Have a nice debating!!!!
Don’t be afraid of speaking, but be afraid of silent!!!
